It’s straightforward when the parts fit under a telecentric lens (parallel projection) — it gets exciting when they don’t. By calibrating cameras relative to each other, even very large components can be measured with extremely high precision.

3D measurements — from circuit boards to full car bodies — are also possible with the hardware we use. With Z-axis resolutions down to 0.001 mm, even the smallest deviations can be detected.
